Free check

Does ChatGPT recommend your app?

We ask ChatGPT what people ask before they know your app exists, and show you whether it names yours, and who it names instead. Free, no signup, about two minutes.

Questions

About the check.

How does the check work?

Ternly reads your app's public store listing and writes the questions a person asks ChatGPT before they know your app exists, plus one about your app by name. It asks ChatGPT each one, the way people use it, with web search on, and reads every answer for whether it names your app, in what place, and who it names instead.

Why might ChatGPT answer me differently?

ChatGPT's answers change from one ask to the next, and with who is asking and from where. One check is a snapshot. Ternly's paid plans ask the same questions every day and track the share of answers that name you, which is the number worth watching.

Why only ChatGPT?

It's the one most people ask, and it keeps the check free. The scan when you sign up free asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews fifteen questions each, and ends with your first three fixes.

Is it really free?

Yes. No signup and no card. A few checks a day from one network, and the same app checked again the same day shows the earlier result.

What does Ternly keep?

The app you checked, the questions and ChatGPT's answers, so the result's link works for 90 days, and your network address for two days, to hold the daily limit. No account, no email, no cookies. See the privacy policy.

How do I get ChatGPT to recommend my app?

ChatGPT leans on what it finds on the web: your store listing, your website, best-apps lists, Reddit threads and reviews. Say plainly who your app is for and what it does, in the words people use to ask, and get onto the lists and threads it cites. Ternly shows which pages each answer cites and what to fix first.
